Richard III by William Shakespeare, directed by Ellen Geer – The story of the most charismatic villain ever to command the stage. Daunted by a life of physical challenges, Richard weaves a fiery web of intrigue, removing all obstacles – and all people – that stand between him and his designs on the throne of England. Shakespeare's delightfully bloody and brutal history follows the corrupt path of a twisted man with equally twisted ambitions as Richard manipulates, marries and murders his way to the top with unmatched charm and zeal.

Learn to design and build an online newsroom that will keep the media informed, engaged and coming back for more..

Most reporters consult an organization's website when they prepare their stories for broadcast or publication. It used to be necessary to create glossy, expensive media kits to convey the story of your organization to reporters at a media conference. Today, you can simply direct a reporter to a web URL, where all your press materials, photos, videos, logos, and artwork are posted. It's a huge time and money saver for you, your organization and for the media. Creating these materials has never been easier – or cheaper. This workshop will show you how to build an online news room the media will love, with or without your own website, with or without any previous online publishing experience. You'll leave the workshop knowing how you can provide journalists the information they need, how they need it and when they need it.

You'll learn to:

  • Create the essential documents for your newsroom
  • Determine which Web 2.0 tools best suit your news style and organization
  • Set up RSS and other communication tools
  • Produce and embed audio and video podcasts into your newsroom
  • Design your newsroom for bloggers and social media sites
  • Bookmark, comment and optimize your newsroom to increase visibility
  • Distribute and syndicate your content
  • Present you or your company up as an expert in your industry
  • Create a newsroom without a website and without any online publishing skills, if necessary
  • and much more…

Early Bird Bonus:Register for the workshop before April 30, 2011 and you'll save and we'll give you a one hour in-person tutorial at your office or ours, before or after the workshop.
