St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) November 07, 2011

The recession has sent buyers into hiding, and local businesses are being forced to look at new ways to get back in front of them. An upcoming seminar titled ?Creating Your Killer 2012 SEO Strategy? hopes to make that happen by bringing WhereIsMyBusiness.com Internet Marketing expert Will Hanke and local business executives together for a one-day workshop in St. Louis.

The event, sponsored by Where Is My Business (WhereIsMyBusiness.com), focuses entirely on helping business owners in the Saint Louis area make their websites more search-engine friendly. The ?friendlier? their websites are, the better they rank in the major search engines like Google ? which leads to more customers in 2012.

?Business owners today have to be on the first page of Google,? comments Will Hanke, a search engine optimization expert from St Louis, MO. ?A simple website won?t do ? you need traffic. Since 89% of searchers don?t go past page one, it?s imperative to be on that first page of results. We?ll show our attendees how to get there.?

This isn?t the first time Hanke has put on a seminar like this. Since 2004 he has been helping local business owners optimize their way to the top of Google, Yahoo! and Bing. He teaches monthly SEO classes on everything from analytics to Places, Google?s local business and map system.

?These seminars are interactive and hands-on. Many small business owners bring their laptops and have improved their website before they even leave that evening,? says Hanke.

There are less than 20 tickets remaining.

When: Thursday November 17, 2011

Time: 6:30pm-9:00pm

Where: Staybridge Suites 1855 Craigshire, St Louis MO

Cost: $ 10

Who Should Attend: Business owners, managers, executives and web designers

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) November 03, 2011

It?s all about the people at DoublePositive Marketing Group, Inc., the undoubted leader in live telephone transfers and online marketing. And now, it?s all about more people. The company strengthened its online marketing team recently by making some key executive hires from powerhouses like AOL/Advertising.com and One-to-One Global, as well as others with deep experience in the space.

The recent hires?and their ability to deliver superior performance-based services?broaden the company?s industry reach and position the company to service new customers formerly unable to take advantage of live telephone transfers. Search engine marketing, display advertising, mobile marketing and advertising, and social media advertising round out the company?s online services suite.

Trent Walter, DoublePositive?s new vice president of national sales and former director of regional sales for AOL/Advertising.com, is enthusiastic about the offering. ?Our technology is designed for real-time advertising. And, unlike others, our system, by design, aims to satisfy the performance goals of the advertiser, not the publishers or the networks.?

JT Benton, DoublePositive?s new vice president of mobile marketing, adds ?we are committed to making a serious impact on the mobile web. Our mobile marketing division has a simple, vital mission: connect advertisers, publishers, and consumers on the mobile web. We will add value to every inquiry.?

Two years ago the company committed to the online marketing space, and soon after hired Paul DiDonno, current vice president at DoublePositive and former strategy manager at AOL/Advertising.com, to manage their flagship education account. Brian Tomasette, current vice president of media products at DoublePositive and former director of product sales and agency partnerships at AOL/Advertising.com, was hired shortly after DiDonno.

?I came to DoublePositive to continue my passion for performance marketing in the education space, and for the people,? says DiDonno. ?The (then) small team, everyone passionate about what they did, trusting each other, and everyone working for one goal?we made serious progress in a short amount of time.?

?It was an amazing opportunity to apply my experience and knowledge in online marketing. In the last two years, we have developed technology that surveys the marketplace, scores and optimizes bids based on our client?s performance goals, and then automatically adjusts those bids based on performance. That?s industry leading, and we continue to innovate.?

To support these initiatives, account management, delivery, media analysts, quality assurance, and sales teams are all in place lead by the industry?s most experienced and staffed with dozens of the industry?s brightest.

?We are really excited,? says Tomasette. ?We are creating the future of online advertising, and are armed with all of the tools and people to make it something memorable.?

About DoublePositive:

Nestled securely at the center of lead buying and selling ecosystem since 2004, DoublePositive?s proprietary technology capabilities cover the entire online marketing funnel from display (CPM) to search (CPC) to leads (Cost-per-Acquisition/Cost-per-Lead/Cost-per-Call) to transfers (CPT).

Ranked as one of the HOT 100 Fastest Growing Companies in America by Entrepreneur Magazine and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and honored with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year? (Maryland), DoublePositive has helped thousands of lead buyers, sellers, and online advertisers transform their businesses.

Founded in 2010, Virtuoso Legal Marketing is a sister company to Work Media LLC, which has been providing search engine optimization (SEO) services to companies of all sizes all over the United States since 2005. Boston, MA (PRWEB) May 5, 2006

According to the Internet Standards Assessment Report (ISAR) released by the Web Marketing Association, Content, copywriting, design, and ease of use are all strong points in marketing Web sites. ?Of course, as in every industry, there are marketing Web sites that stand out and others that don?t make the grade,? concluded Rice. ?Our goal has always been to be more than just a popularity or beauty contest that rewards brand names and good design. Instead, this ISAR study is designed to return some value to every entrant with input as to what Internet professionals should strive for in their Web site development efforts in an objective, empirical and constructive way.?
